 Common Foundation  (5:20 pm)

Playing a blend of down tempo reggae, chugging Jamaican rocksteady, and upbeat ska, Common Foundation fills the air with infectious danceable rhythms and an easygoing atmosphere. Soaring vocal harmonies and a four piece horn section add distinct flair to this up and coming band.

Best described as “Southern Funk Rock,” their style pools together the most energetic of music genres. A little edgy, a little funky and a little punkish, their high energy set will be sure to put the crowd into a mania. Their unequaled instrumentation which includes an electric violin and a saxophone will rejuvenate audiences. Playing a combination of Funk, Southern Rock, Blues and a little Jazz, this is a band dedicated to live music that gets people dancing.

Stephen and Jeff Neil are identical twin brothers who perform as an electric violin duo in their high energy act, Synergy. Their musical influences are diverse, stemming from a classical upbringing to Latin, Rock, Techno, and more. Their unique blend of styles has been described as fresh and innovative as they perform a wide variety of music ranging from Pachelbel’s famous Canon in D to their scintillating cover of Pirates of the Caribbean.

The Get Right Band is a force to be reckoned with. Combining catchy, clever songwriting with musical expertise and fearless improvisation, the live show promises to make you shake everything you’ve got. From funk to rock n’ roll to reggae, this is a dance party. This is an ass shaking good time.

Born out of Asheville, North Carolina’s supergroup Soulgrass Rebellion, The Get Right band has been touring the East Coast and the Caribbean heavily since their inception in April, 2011. The band has rocked hard and jammed relentlessly every step of the way The Get Right Band is a force to be reckoned with. Combining catchy, clever songwriting with musical expertise and fearless improvisation, the live show promises to make you shake everything you’ve got. From funk to rock n’ roll to reggae, this is a dance party. This is an ass shaking good time. Bobby Jo Valentine (12:25 pm)
San Francisco based singer-songwriter Bobby Jo Valentine has received numerous recognitions for his work, including designation of Songwriter ofthe Year by the West Coast Songwriter’s Association, radio appearances on KGO, KSVY and KRSH, and television spots including ABC’s The Morning Blend, Sac and Company, and NBC’s Outlook Video. Valentine’s lyrics explore the tense high wire between light and dark, but doesn’t always wrap things up with a tidy answer. The singer’s sense of realism, charm and infectious melodies and vocals have earned the praises of industry vets like Brian Lucey, mastering engineer for The Shin and The Black Keys, who said, “Bobby writes with a sweetness and honesty seldom heard in acoustic pop music.”

Bobby lives north of San Francisco with his partner, and is on tour around the nation 10-15 days every month, developing a strong, loyal following with warm, inviting melodies and lyrics filled with depth and hope.

 Cantaria (12:00 pm)

Cantarìa is a voluntary, not-for-profit community chorus, organized to provide the opportunity for gay and gay-supportive men to sing together. Performing since the 80's, the group puts on multiple shows throughout the year both locally as well as nationally and internationally.
